So when I met with Dana for the first time and she told me that I was going to be setting up in the middle of a cow field, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit skeptical. Dana and her mother laid out the plan for the day and the music over lunch at Steak n Shake. Instantly I knew that this wedding was gonna be a great time…..even if I couldn’t quite envision HOW it was going to work. The fact that Amy at Adore Events was the wedding planner for this event put any concerns I might of had to rest. The event, however, did not come without it’s own set of unique challenges. I met with Amy and Dana the Wednesday before the wedding in the middle of a rainstorm of Apocalyptic proportions causing us to wonder if this would happen. We were able to make it down to the site with umbrellas in tow and details started to come together. I was not prepared for the transformation that took place in those few days. Pulling up to the site my jaw hit the floor. It was the picture of Southern Elegance as you can see from the pictures. From enormous chandeliers hanging from the large oak tree, to the exquisite door planted at the beginning of the isle, right down to the trees as centerpieces (yes, I said trees) with lanterns hanging from the branches, everything looked amazing. The night was picture perfect and captured by the incredible imagery of Cannon Fire Photography & Platinum Digital Video. You could have taken the wedding out of a fairy tale and not matched the joy and beauty of the evening. Congratulations to Daniel & Dana on the beginning of their new life together. You certainly started it off the right way.

We had a great time playing at the party and meeting so many amazing guests & vendors. The crowd was a blast and there were tons of prizes given away from the vendors. Mr. & Mrs. Houston Brothers

As a DJ there are many times that you arrive at a reception and know almost nobody. You may have met with the Bride and Groom or the Event Coordinator in a few sit down sessions but not REALLY know them. So when Houston & Brittany came to me late last year to DJ their wedding reception I jumped at the chance. Knowing the couple personally and most of their guests the way that I do I was excited and honored to provide entertainment at their reception.

Lisa and I were able to attend their beautiful outdoor wedding at Golden Ocala.  It was a perfect spring day for a wedding and the ceremony went off without a hitch.  The bridal party came out to music being played on guitar by Chad Par-due & Michael Langston.  It was a perfect complement to the atmosphere of the day.  From there we headed over to New Testament Baptist Church for the reception.  The fun started from the moment the music began.  The groomsmen of the bridal party came in with socks pulled up to their knees dancing to “Walk It Out” to laughs and applause.  That set the tone to a night of dancing and laughter.  From the bridesmaids doing a “Rap” toast, to the cake cutting getting a little bit messy, all the way to the Newlyweds driving off into the night in a custom hot rod.

All in all we could not be happier for Houston & Brittany on there magical day.  Many wishes of a long and full life for the two of them together.

So as you can see I have not posted to the site in a while. Looking to resolve that soon with some new updates and events that are going on. Very excited for the new things that are on the horizon. It has been a little while since I got back on the blog.  I must say that the end of this year is shaping up quite nicely.  The word of mouth and response from the new site has been great.  Thank you to all who have visited and told your friends to stop by.

So we have been busy here at Euro Entertainment.  Not only am I the resident DJ for CLOUD9 in Ocala every Friday & Saturday night, but working non-stop to book many new venues and events.  I wish that I had the pictures to show you from the 2nd Annual 70′s Party hosted by Sircle, Inc. We had a great time with old school Disco Funk.  Everyone came dressed with their Afro’s & Bell bottoms in full effect.  It was great to see the return of the Soul Train line.  I found some pics for you to enjoy from their website.

Coming up this Friday, July 31st  I will be DJing the Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner at the Holiday Inn & Suites.  It is going to be quite the event with many guest speakers from the Marion County GOP.  Click on the link above for info or if you would like to purchase tickets to the event.

In August I have once again been given the honor of  being invited to DJ/Emcee the Costume Party for the Florida Professional Photographers Convention.  Last years theme was “Scrubs”.  This year the theme is Halloween.  It is sure to be a good time.  It is one of those must attend events if you are a Florida Photographer.  Special thanks to Action Jackson for the continued support.

I arrived at the Holiday Inn Select in Orlando, FL with the assistance of my little brother who was tagging along and helping for the event.  I walk in the lobby to find a movie premiere poster  welcoming you and giving you the list of the cast (music of course provided by yours truly).  After a beautiful ceremony and a quick change of scenery, we introduced Jim & Natalie for the first time as husband and wife to “The Superman Theme”.  The movie theme continued with personalized place cards at each table with movie titles to list the seating arrangements.  CD Soundtracks given to all the guests with their own “Paparazzi” instructions for photographing the event.  After much dancing and laughing we called it a night to “The Goodbye Girl”.
